The hot water used in appliances causes stubborn limescale deposits to form, making limescale the natural enemy of all coffee machines.
Our water filters extend the operating life of expensive appliances, enabling them to operate smoothly year after year instead of winding up in a landfill before the end of their intended lifespan. Moreover, appliances with good limescale protection require less frequent repair, which means that fewer service trips and fewer replacement parts are necessary.
FEWER CHEMICALS
When equipped with our water filters, coffee machines require no descaling or need it much less often. This makes aggressive descaling chemicals unnecessary and saves time as well.
MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
Compared to other products, our water filters for the food service industry have a higher capacity despite their smaller size. This means they deliver higher performance while requiring fewer raw materials in their production.

With MINTEC, it is no longer necessary to buy – or transport – water bottles. This conserves resources, saves energy, and reduces waste. A single MINTEC cartridge can replace several thousand plastic bottles and can even be recycled once empty.

Our entire flow of goods is audited for International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) compliance. ACLARIS has been ISCC Plus certified since 2024.

We provide charging stations for electric cars and bicycles.
We use residual heat from our production processes to heat our new headquarters building in Rebstein and have a ventilation system equipped for heat recovery.
We develop and manufacture all of our products exclusively in Switzerland and have a very high degree of vertical integration.
All ACLARIS products bear the Swiss Made label, which is a mark of quality. This label also attests to our environmentally friendly business practices because Switzerland is one of the industrialized countries with the lowest COâ‚‚ emissions per person and per unit of GDP.
Our new headquarters building in Rebstein is made of wood and draws electricity from our own photovoltaic system.
