Rebstein – It was quite a day! ACLARIS, specialist and market leader in developing in-tank filters for fully automated coffee machines, invited its community to celebrate the opening of its brand-new headquarters building at Industriestrasse 4 in Rebstein. Constructed by a regional company, the modern structure impressed visitors with its contemporary architectural design that generously incorporates wood, thus making good use of a sustainable material. Within the building’s more than 1000 square meters, there are offices, meeting rooms, a laboratory, and production areas.
Crowds flock to opening festivities
Numerous visitors flocked to the opening festivities on a beautiful Saturday in May. Guests took the opportunity to tour the new building, strike up conversations, celebrate, and enjoy the day together. Among the guests were Rebstein’s mayor, Alex Arnold, and his family. Following a tasty lunch, Beat Tinner, a member of St Gallen’s Cantonal Council, gave a speech in which he greeted the guests and praised ACLARIS for its spirit of innovation and its significance for the region. He pointed out that ACLARIS not only brings jobs to Rebstein but also sends a strong signal for the future and the development of the whole Rhine Valley region – something the entire canton of St Gallen has reason to celebrate.
Celebrating with music, pony rides, and sweet treats
A wide variety of activities kept visitors entertained. Rebstein’s music society and Montlingen’s choir provided the musical highlights of the day, while the Blauring organization put a smile on kids’ faces and kept them entertained with games and creative activities. Attractions included a bouncy castle, a candy bar, a crêpe stand, pony rides, children’s soccer, and other fun activities. The opening celebration was a lot of fun for adults and kids alike – much to the delight of ACLARIS’s management and the many guests.
